Construction of a 3.5-kilometer-long wooden boardwalk and a 225-meter-long pedestrian bridge over the Ribeira de Alcantarilha, as part of the South Coast Ecovia, between Praia dos Salgados and Armação de Pêra.
Developed in an area of high ecological value, the project was designed to reconcile public use of this stretch of coastline with the preservation of the dune system, by channeling pedestrian traffic along a continuous path and minimizing pressure on natural habitats. Given its scale and scenic setting, this project serves as a landmark infrastructure initiative for the enhancement of the Algarve coastline.
