A wooden house built by restoring an existing ruin, with a covered area of 56 m². The original granite base was retained as the foundation, serving to support the new wooden structure.
The house is built entirely of wood, both inside and out: walls, floors, and exterior cladding. The exterior cladding was pressure-treated and painted with a black glaze, which ensures good resistance to weathering. The walls, floors, and roof are thermally insulated to keep the house comfortable year-round.
Set on a rural plot, surrounded by dense forest that practically hides it from view, wood was also chosen for its sustainability. It is a renewable material with a lower environmental impact than any other alternative.
