Laminated wood
The glued-laminated timber is the ideal material for building large-scale structures, allowing for a wide variety of shapes, as well as structures with long spans.
There are 3 types of glued laminated timber: spruce, commonly known as “white cone,” Scots pine, commonly known as “red casquinha,” or radiata pine, also known as Insignis pine, which are used in different situations.
With different strength classes tailored to each application and with the proper treatment, it is possible to build large-scale structures with bold shapes, without ever compromising durability or architectural integrity.
